  • Euthanase sick, injured or unwanted pound animals
  • Conduct community awareness program
  • Operate & maintain council pound facilities

  • The course consists of 10 Mandatory Units and any 4 Elective Units from those provided above. Participants will not be enrolled in some competency units unless they hold appropriate licences or certification from relevant State or Territory authorities. This is an ideal course for Animal Management Officers or people whose work with animal welfare organisations has a significant investigative role. It combines animal management skills with the legal knowledge and investigative skills essential for their work in a regulatory environment The Course is Available as a Traineeship in NSW, Qld, WA & SA.
