  • The course consists of the ten Mandatory Units and one of the Elective Units. Research indicates that a significant portion of law enforcement that traditionally was the responsibility of state police agencies is now being handled by local government. This is an ideal course for participants who intend to follow a career in local government law enforcement and compliance. This course has been designed as an entry level qualification for local government parking and animal management officers. Completion of this course equips graduates with the skills and knowledge to work as team members in Local Government enforcement and compliance roles. Participants finish Stage One of the Course ready for work as Local Government Parking Officers. The field phase of Stage Two is designed to integrate training with specific workplace learning. This course is available as a Traineeship in NSW.
